POLITICS 1776 LLC

Terms & Conditions

Applicable to Politics1776.us, CENW.org, and Associated Services

Last Updated: October 17, 2026

Welcome to Politics 1776 LLC.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of websites, online communities, discussion forums, information, resources, memberships, and related services owned, operated, or administered by Politics 1776 LLC.

These Terms apply to both Politics 1776 and CENW (Community Engagement & Neighborhood Watch), including their associated community areas and services.

By accessing or using our websites or participating in our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and any applicable additional policies.

If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the applicable website or service.

1. Company Ownership & Legal Identity

Politics 1776 LLC is a privately owned Oklahoma limited liability company.

The Company operates two initiatives:

Politics 1776 — Politics1776.us

A private, independent grassroots initiative focused on American history, civic education, public discussion, and encouraging informed civic participation.

CENW — CENW.org

Community Engagement & Neighborhood Watch, operated as a DBA (Doing Business As) of Politics 1776 LLC, providing online community resources, neighborhood communication tools, and opportunities for communities to connect.

Politics 1776 and CENW are operated by the same legal company. CENW is not a separate corporation or legal entity.

Throughout these Terms, “Company,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to Politics 1776 LLC, including its operations under the CENW DBA where applicable.

2. Age Requirement

Our websites and associated community services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older.

By accessing or using our services, creating an account, joining a community, or participating in discussions, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

Individuals under 18 are not permitted to participate in Company-administered community spaces or membership services.

We do not knowingly solicit personal information from individuals under 18 through these services. If we become aware of an underage account or participation, we may restrict access or take other appropriate action consistent with applicable law and third-party provider policies.

3. Shared Community Platform — Heartbeat.chat

Politics 1776 LLC uses Heartbeat.chat, an independent third-party service provider, to host and operate its online community discussion services.

Politics 1776 and CENW operate within one shared Heartbeat community and master account administered by Politics 1776 LLC.

The Company uses Heartbeat's available permissions and access controls to establish separate, restricted community areas.

These areas include:

  • Politics 1776 Community: Dedicated to history, civic education, public discussion, and related subjects.

  • CENW — Neighborhood Square: Dedicated to neighborhood communication, community relationships, local information, and independently organized neighborhood watches.

Neighborhood Square is simply the name of CENW's discussion forum. It is not a separate company, organization, or independently operated platform.

Membership or participation in one discussion area does not automatically provide access to another.

Ordinary members generally cannot view or participate in restricted areas for which they have not received permission.

However, both areas share the same underlying Heartbeat infrastructure and Company administration. Authorized Company administrators and Heartbeat personnel may have access to information according to their respective roles, permissions, and applicable policies.

The Company does not guarantee absolute technical separation, uninterrupted privacy controls, or complete isolation of account information between community areas.

4. Third-Party Platforms & Services

Politics 1776 LLC relies on independent third-party providers to support various website and community functions.

These may include services for:

  • Website hosting and infrastructure.

  • Community discussions and member accounts.

  • Online meetings, events, and communications.

  • Memberships, subscriptions, and payment processing.

  • Website analytics and security.

  • Email and other communication services.

  • Other operational tools, resources, and integrated services.

These providers may be directly linked from our websites, integrated into our services, or used as part of our underlying infrastructure.

Each third-party provider operates under its own Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, acceptable-use requirements, and other applicable rules.

Users are responsible for reviewing and complying with the applicable policies of third-party services they choose to use.

Politics 1776 LLC does not control the independent technology, operations, security, availability, data practices, or policies of these providers.

We may add, replace, modify, or discontinue third-party services as our operations evolve.

Nothing in these Terms overrides the applicable contractual rights or policies of an independent service provider.

5. Heartbeat Terms, Policies & Contractual Requirements

Participation in Company-administered Heartbeat communities is subject to these Terms, our applicable Community Guidelines, and Heartbeat's own applicable policies.

These include:

Heartbeat's applicable user-facing Terms & Conditions and Content Policy are incorporated by reference as additional participation requirements to the extent permitted by law.

Users must comply with all applicable Company and Heartbeat requirements.

Politics 1776 LLC must also comply with its own contractual obligations to Heartbeat.

Where Company requirements and Heartbeat requirements overlap, both apply to the extent legally permissible.

Nothing in our Terms authorizes conduct prohibited by Heartbeat or limits Heartbeat's independent authority to administer its platform, enforce its policies, restrict accounts, or remove content.

6. Additional Community Guidelines & Rules

Politics 1776 LLC may establish, publish, revise, and enforce additional Community Guidelines, participation standards, and community-specific rules for Politics 1776, CENW, and their associated discussion areas.

These Community Guidelines supplement these Terms & Conditions and the applicable requirements of third-party providers.

Users agree to comply with the Community Guidelines applicable to any Company-administered community in which they participate.

The Company may maintain different community-specific rules reflecting the distinct purposes of Politics 1776 and CENW.

Community Guidelines may address acceptable conduct, participation requirements, posting standards, privacy, safety, moderation, and other matters relevant to community operations.

The Company may update these Guidelines as needed. Material changes will be communicated when required by law, and additional consent will be obtained when legally necessary.

Violations may result in moderation, restricted access, suspension, or removal, subject to applicable law and third-party platform capabilities.

7. Community Conduct & User Responsibility

Every participant is responsible for their own conduct, communications, and actions.

Users are responsible for the content they create, submit, publish, transmit, or share, including posts, comments, messages, photographs, files, links, and other materials.

Users must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, these Terms, applicable Community Guidelines, and relevant third-party provider policies.

Unlawful activity, threats, harassment, intimidation, abuse, fraud, infringement of another person's rights, and misuse of Company-administered services are prohibited.

Users must not attempt to circumvent access permissions, obtain unauthorized information, or interfere with the operation or security of community services.

Users remain responsible for the consequences of their own statements, actions, communications, and participation, including any resulting disputes, complaints, claims, investigations, or legal proceedings, to the extent provided by applicable law.

The Company's operation or moderation of a community does not constitute endorsement, approval, verification, or adoption of individual users' statements or conduct.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent lawful reporting to authorities, participation in legal proceedings, or compliance with applicable law.

8. Community Moderation, Access & Removal

Politics 1776 LLC reserves the right to administer and moderate Company-controlled websites, discussion areas, community spaces, and associated services.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company may restrict, suspend, or permanently remove any participant from a Company-administered community or service at any time, with or without prior notice and with or without providing a reason.

The Company may also edit, restrict, hide, or remove content from areas it controls or administers, subject to the capabilities and requirements of the applicable service provider.

Such actions may be taken for violations of applicable rules, disruptive behavior, safety concerns, misuse, operational reasons, or other circumstances the Company determines warrant action.

The Company is not obligated to provide continued participation or access except where required by law or an applicable contractual obligation.

Third-party providers, including Heartbeat, may independently suspend accounts, remove content, or enforce their own policies.

Removal from a Company-administered discussion area does not necessarily constitute removal from an independent organization or another third-party service.

9. Third-Party Terms, Disputes & Available Legal Protections

Our websites and community services may involve activities governed by both Company policies and independent third-party agreements.

If a complaint, dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arises from activity conducted through Heartbeat or another third-party service, the applicable third-party terms and policies may also govern that activity according to their scope and enforceability.

Where our Terms do not expressly address a particular issue, applicable third-party contractual provisions may be considered or relied upon to the extent legally permissible.

Politics 1776 LLC reserves the right to assert any contractual rights, defenses, limitations, or protections legally available to it under its own agreements, applicable third-party agreements, or governing law.

This includes the right to reference applicable Heartbeat provisions when relevant to a dispute involving Company-administered Heartbeat activities.

However, nothing in these Terms automatically transfers a third-party provider's contractual protections to Politics 1776 LLC, creates rights the Company does not legally possess, or excludes obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The Company's Privacy Policy and each applicable third-party Privacy Policy separately govern the information-handling practices of the respective organization.

10. Politics 1776 — Independence & Civic Participation

Politics 1776 is a private, independent grassroots initiative.

Politics 1776 is not affiliated with, operated by, or officially connected to any political party, candidate, political campaign, government agency, or other political organization.

Its articles, historical materials, educational resources, commentary, and discussions are intended to encourage historical understanding, independent thought, civic awareness, and lawful participation.

Users are responsible for forming their own opinions and making their own decisions.

Participation does not require agreement with any particular political viewpoint or position.

Statements and opinions expressed by community members do not necessarily represent those of Politics 1776 LLC.

11. CENW — Purpose & Platform Independence

CENW provides online community information, communication resources, discussion opportunities, and other tools intended to help neighbors and communities connect.

CENW may provide resources supporting independently organized neighborhood watches, neighborhood communication, and community participation.

CENW is an online platform and resource provider. It is not itself a neighborhood watch, homeowners association, law-enforcement agency, government organization, security service, or emergency-response organization.

CENW's operation of Neighborhood Square and related resources does not establish control over independent neighborhood watches or community groups.

12. Independent Neighborhood Watches & Community Groups

Neighborhood watches and community groups participating in CENW remain independently organized and locally operated.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, Politics 1776 LLC does not operate, manage, direct, supervise, or control their leadership, membership, meetings, communications, activities, decisions, or conduct.

Each independent group is responsible for its own organization, activities, participants, policies, and compliance with applicable law.

Participation in CENW, Neighborhood Square, the CENW Network, or other Company-provided resources does not make an independent group a subsidiary, chapter, employee, agent, representative, franchise, partner, or legal affiliate of Politics 1776 LLC.

No independent group, organizer, administrator, or participant may enter into agreements, make commitments, incur obligations, or represent Politics 1776 LLC without express written authorization.

The Company does not assume responsibility for independently organized groups merely because they use CENW resources, participate in discussions, or maintain connections through the CENW Network.

Statements and actions of independent groups and their participants are their own unless expressly identified otherwise.

13. CENW — Community Safety & Emergency Disclaimer

CENW and Politics 1776 LLC are not law-enforcement agencies, emergency-response organizations, or professional security services.

Information and community discussions provided through CENW are not substitutes for professional advice, emergency assistance, or official public-safety services.

For emergencies or crimes in progress, contact 911 or the appropriate emergency authority.

Participation in a neighborhood watch does not grant law-enforcement authority.

Participants should act lawfully and responsibly and should not confront, pursue, detain, threaten, intimidate, or unnecessarily place themselves or others in danger.

Independent neighborhood watches remain responsible for establishing their own operating practices and complying with applicable laws.

14. Informational & Educational Disclaimer

The Company's websites and associated services provide information, articles, historical materials, commentary, resources, community discussions, and other content for general informational and educational purposes.

Nothing provided through Politics 1776 or CENW constitutes legal, financial, investment, law-enforcement, security, emergency, medical, or other professional advice.

Although reasonable efforts may be made to provide accurate information, the Company does not guarantee that all content is accurate, complete, current, reliable, or free from errors.

Historical materials may reflect differing interpretations, and community information may originate from independent individuals or organizations.

Users are responsible for evaluating information, independently verifying important claims, and making their own decisions.

The Company does not assume responsibility for decisions or actions taken solely in reliance upon information obtained through its websites or services, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

15. Memberships, Subscriptions & Payments

Certain Company services or features may be offered through membership, subscription, or other access arrangements.

If paid services are offered, the applicable prices, billing terms, renewal conditions, cancellation procedures, and any refund policies will be disclosed through the relevant service or transaction process.

Payments may be processed through independent third-party providers.

Users are responsible for reviewing applicable payment-provider terms and managing their accounts, payment methods, and subscriptions according to the terms presented at enrollment or purchase.

Where recurring billing is offered, automatic renewal will apply only as disclosed and authorized during the applicable transaction process.

Cancellation, refund, and billing-dispute procedures are subject to the applicable purchase terms, provider requirements, and consumer-protection laws.

The Company may restrict or discontinue access associated with expired, canceled, unpaid, refunded, or terminated memberships, subject to applicable law and contractual obligations.

Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

16. Privacy & Information Handling

Politics 1776 LLC may receive information voluntarily provided by users or made available through authorized third-party administrative tools.

Information may include communications, account details, participation activity, subscription information, and other data associated with Company operations.

The Company may access and use such information for legitimate operational purposes, including community administration, moderation, communications, account management, responding to concerns, and compliance with applicable law.

Third-party services may independently collect, process, store, and use information under their own privacy policies.

Because Politics 1776 and CENW share a Heartbeat master account, authorized Company administrators may have access to account or participation information across both designated community areas according to their permissions.

Separate discussion areas do not guarantee completely separate account records or data storage.

Additional information is provided in the Company's Privacy Policy, which applies to both Politics 1776 and CENW.

Users are responsible for reviewing the privacy policies of independent services they choose to use.

17. Intellectual Property & Original Content

Unless otherwise stated, original articles, website content, written materials, logos, graphics, designs, branding, and other original works created by or for Politics 1776 LLC are owned by the Company or used with appropriate authorization.

Third-party trademarks, photographs, quotations, information, graphics, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Independent neighborhood watches and community groups retain ownership of materials they independently own.

Users retain ownership of their original submissions, subject to any licenses they grant under applicable platform terms and the following provision.

By voluntarily submitting content to a Company-administered community, users grant Politics 1776 LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, administer, moderate, and provide the community service, subject to applicable law and the user's rights.

This license does not transfer ownership of the submitted content to the Company and does not authorize unrelated commercial exploitation.

Users represent that they possess the rights or permissions necessary to submit their materials.

Except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law, users may not commercially reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, license, or exploit Company-owned materials without authorization.

18. Sharing, Attribution & External Content

Politics 1776 encourages readers to share its publicly available educational and historical content.

Users may share links to Politics 1776 articles and resources with appropriate attribution and a direct link to the original webpage.

Not all materials appearing on Company websites belong to Politics 1776 LLC.

Users are responsible for respecting third-party ownership, licensing, and intellectual-property rights.

Permission to share links does not grant unrestricted permission to reproduce or commercially exploit Company-owned materials.

Nothing in these Terms restricts uses permitted by applicable law.

19. External Links & Independent Resources

Company websites may contain links to government agencies, businesses, community organizations, social-media services, public resources, and other independent websites.

These links are provided for informational purposes and convenience.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, inclusion of a link or resource does not establish an affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, agency relationship, or other legal association.

Independent organizations and service providers remain responsible for their own information, policies, operations, and services.

Users access external websites and resources at their own discretion.

20. Service Availability & Operational Changes

Politics 1776 LLC may modify, update, restrict, suspend, replace, or discontinue any portion of its websites, community services, resources, or features, subject to applicable law and contractual obligations.

The Company does not guarantee that its websites, discussion areas, member services, or third-party platforms will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, current, or error-free.

Third-party providers independently control the operation and availability of their own services.

The Company may change service providers or operational arrangements as needed.

21. No Guarantee or Warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Company websites, information, community spaces, resources, and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

The Company makes no guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability, security, or continued availability of content or services.

Users are responsible for evaluating information and making their own decisions regarding participation, activities, and reliance upon available resources.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Politics 1776 LLC, including its operations under the CENW DBA, and its owners, members, managers, operators, contributors, and associated parties shall not be liable for damages, losses, claims, injuries, or consequences arising from or related to:

  • Use of or inability to use Company websites or services.

  • Reliance upon articles, commentary, community information, or other content.

  • Interruptions, technical failures, security incidents, or loss of service access.

  • Third-party websites, technology platforms, payment processors, or services.

  • Statements, communications, posts, or conduct of other users.

  • Participation in community discussions or activities.

  • Independent neighborhood watch or community group operations.

  • Membership, subscription, or billing matters involving independent providers.

  • Decisions or actions taken by individuals based on information obtained through Company resources.

These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability arising from conduct for which applicable law does not permit such protection.

23. Indemnification & Hold Harmless

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Politics 1776 LLC, its owners, members, managers, operators, and contributors from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from:

  • Unlawful use or misuse of Company services.

  • Violations of these Terms or applicable Community Guidelines.

  • Violations of another person's rights.

  • Unlawful content, communications, or conduct.

  • Unauthorized representations or commitments made on behalf of the Company.

This provision applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not impose an indemnification obligation where prohibited.

24. No Agency, Partnership or Organizational Affiliation

Use of Politics 1776 or CENW services does not create an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, franchise, fiduciary, or other legal relationship between the Company and any user, independent neighborhood watch, or community organization.

No participant may represent themselves as an authorized agent or representative of Politics 1776 LLC without express written permission.

The Company remains responsible for its own operations, while independent organizations and individuals remain responsible for their own activities and legal obligations.

25. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Politics 1776 LLC is an Oklahoma limited liability company.

These Terms and use of the Company's websites and services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any legal action or proceeding arising from these Terms or Company services shall be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction as permitted by applicable law.

The Company reserves the right to assert lawful contractual defenses and applicable choice-of-law provisions.

This provision does not override the separate governing-law or dispute-resolution provisions of third-party agreements where those provisions independently apply.

26. Changes to These Terms & Additional Policies

Politics 1776 LLC reserves the right to revise these Terms, its Community Guidelines, and other Company policies as services, technology providers, operational practices, or legal requirements change.

Updated versions will be posted through the applicable website or service.

Changes become effective as stated in the updated document, subject to applicable law.

Where legally required, the Company will provide additional notice or obtain consent.

Continued use following an effective update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Users are encouraged to review these Terms and applicable Community Guidelines periodically.

27. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary.

The remaining provisions shall continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

28. Entire Agreement & Additional Policies

These Terms, together with the Company's applicable Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the general agreement governing use of Politics 1776 and CENW unless a separate written agreement expressly applies.

The applicable requirements of third-party providers remain independently effective according to their own terms.

Where a separate transaction, membership, service, or third-party agreement applies, its provisions may supplement these Terms within its applicable scope.

Nothing in this section overrides mandatory legal rights or obligations.
